WHO WE ARE
Tifosi Cards is an independent Formula 1 trading card shop operated from the Niagara Region, Ontario, Canada. For anything privacy related, contact us at tifosicards@gmail.com.
WHAT WE COLLECT
This site has no accounts, no forms, and takes no payments. The only data we collect is website analytics through Google Analytics 4, which uses cookies and similar identifiers to record the pages you view, the type of device and browser you use, your approximate (city-level) location, and how you arrived at the site. We use this to understand which cards interest visitors and to improve the shop. We never see your name, exact address, or payment details from your visit here.
BUYING DIRECTLY ON THIS SITE
When direct checkout is offered, payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number goes to Stripe and never touches our servers. We receive your name, email, and shipping address so we can pack, ship, and send you tracking, and we keep order records only as long as marketplace and tax rules require. Your cart is stored in your own browser, not on our servers.
PURCHASES ON EBAY
When you buy a card on eBay instead, your payment and shipping information is collected and handled by eBay under the eBay privacy notice. We receive only what eBay provides to sellers to fulfil an order: your username, name, and shipping address. We use that information solely to pack and ship your card and keep it only as long as marketplace and tax rules require.
WHO WE SHARE DATA WITH
Google processes analytics data on our behalf; see Google's privacy policy and how Google uses information from sites that use its services. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with anyone else except where the law requires.
YOUR CHOICES
You can opt out of analytics on this site using the cookie notice shown on your first visit (your choice is remembered in your browser). You can also block or clear cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The site works exactly the same either way.
RETENTION
Analytics data is retained in Google Analytics for up to 14 months, after which it is deleted automatically. Aggregated reports (which contain no personal identifiers) may be kept longer.
YOUR RIGHTS
Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA) and, where it applies, provincial and US state law, you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email tifosicards@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.
CHILDREN
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
CHANGES
If we change how the site handles data (for example, adding direct checkout), this policy will be updated and the effective date above revised.
